For many, the Holiday Season has come to be known for special family traditions, warm memories to cherish, and of course, lots of delicious treats!

We asked an array of Miss Shirley’s Management team members what Holiday Treats & Traditions they can't do without this year - check out what they had to say, below!

"I LOVE the Holiday Season! Our favorite tradition is setting up Doppy's (Eddie's) snow village display in our home. We also enjoy making "Belly Buttons," or circular pretzels with a melted Hershey Kiss and M&M in the middle."

-      Director of Human Resources, Brandy D.

"My family always loved making breakfast & drinking Mimosas together on Christmas morning."

-      Director of Marketing & Public Relations, Jennifer M.

"Each year my mom and I spend an entire Saturday building a Gingerbread House, baking dozens of cookies and making homemade chocolates to giveaway to family & friends during the Holidays. Some of our staples are Sugar Cookies, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Snickerdoodles, Peanut Butter Cookies, Oatmeal Raisin Cookies, Chocolate Covered Pretzels & Dark Chocolate Truffles. It's one of my favorite traditions!"

-      Social Media & Marketing Manager, Jessica T.

"I definitely can't go without my mom's famous Sugar Cookies, during the Holidays!"

-      Corporate Executive Chef, Brigitte B.

"Usually, my Mother-In-Law will make her famous Jewish Apple Cake - it's by FAR my favorite dessert! The first night of Hanukkah is a ton fun, with Schnitzel, Potato Latkes and an always intense game of dreidel."

-      Roland Park General Manager, Joel L.

"Egg Nog is definitely one of my favorites. We also love baking Hot Cocoa Cookies, Liebkuchen (German Cookies) & homemade Gingerbread Houses, all while listening to Christmas music, of course!"

-      Roland Park Executive Chef, Zuri C.

"My family has never gone a year without baking Christmas Sugar Cookies. We get together with my Aunt, Grandma, and all our cousins, to decorate around 6 dozen cookies, sharing lots of laughs & stories in the process. It's the most important part of the Holidays for us. My Grandma even says she moved from New York to Maryland, just for this tradition!

-      Chef, Mary B.

"Last year, we made Muddy Buddies, and we love baking Cookies all season long. Hot Chocolate with Jumbo Mashmallows is also a staple in our house during the Holidays. And, the kids always have a ton of fun seeing what our Elf on the Shelf is up to each day!"

-     Inner Harbor General Manager, Kelly B.

"I make cookies for the Holidays each year. It's usually a cookie baking marathon of 4 or more kinds of cookies, while listening to Christmas Music. Chocolate Chip, Sugar Cookies, Thumbprints (my husband's favorite) and Oatmeal Raisin (my dad's favorite) make the cut every year."

-      Manager, Michelle W.

"I always look forward to Grandma's Peanut Butter Cookies!"

-      Manager, Stephen T.

"The Holidays are not complete without Pumpkin Chiffon Pie with Gingersnap Crust! We also bake and frost homemade Sugar Cookies, and you can't forget the Cinnamon Red Hots for Rudolph's nose!"

-      Dining Room Manager, Alisha M.

"I love Chef Zuri's special Egg Nog recipe. And my dad, Richard's, famous Sticky Buns are a must on Christmas morning."

-     Inner Harbor Executive Chef, Eric B.

"My favorite holiday is Christmas, and we can't celebrate without Tamales!"

-      Annapolis Executive Chef, Ubences N.

"My mom always makes delicious Pumpkin Roll during the Holidays! And my wife and I love Peanut Butter Buckeyes."

-      Chef, Steven K.

"I love being around my family and loved ones that I don't get to see very often. And of course, I love ALL of the food."

-      Chef, Steve C.

From the entire Miss Shirley’s Cafe family, we want to say "Thank you!" to all of our guests, for letting us serve you this year, and we wish you and your loved ones a very Happy Holiday season!
